Actually I get compensated in two ways-

1) I receive a professional fee from the property owner. Most property owners in the area work with real estate agents and are going to pay out a commission to an agent whether you are represented or not. They will pay their own agent the full commission to represent them, NOT YOU. If you receive representation from me, that commission is simply split two ways.

2) The second form of compensation I receive is from referrals. I would much rather be spending my time working with my present clients then trying to get new business, and that is why I aim to create such an experience for clients that they feel comfortable referring at least two more people to me.
